Senior Leadership

Eduardo Morcillo is a Managing Partner with InterChina, and a co-chair of the company's Management Committee. He is based out of InterChina's Beijing office.

Before his current position, he was in charge of InterChina´s M&A Advisory practice and Business Development.

Mr. Morcillo has been in China for the past 12 years and is specialized in cross-border mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, and strategic planning. He is an experienced negotiator and has developed extensive senior-level contacts and deal origination capacity. He has been directly involved in close to 30 successful transactions in China, and has coordinated a team of 20 corporate finance professionals that has closed approximately 130 transactions over the past 10 years.

In parallel with his advisory experience, Mr. Morcillo is currently an Executive Committee member of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. He has served as Chairman of the EU-China Trade & Investment Group, Vice Chairman of the Spanish Chamber in China and is an associate professor in two Business Schools (IE and Cheung Kong Business School).

Mr. Morcillo is a Spanish national educated in the USA, UK and Spain. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School, a Masters in International Finance from Newcastle Upon Tyne University, and a bachelor's degree in Law from UCIII, Madrid.
